G.Demartine & Cie (G.D. & Cie), Limoges tea set.

On offer is an antique G.Demartine & Cie (G.D. & Cie) porcelain, Limoges, France tea set with fluted edges and gold trim. c1890-1920. 

It is a really lovely set with a pale pink and pale blue floral design and fluted, gilded edges.
The set was made by G.D. & Cie, Limoges, France for W. Frain & Son, Castle Street, Dundee, Scotland.
This set comprises of a tea pot, 2 tea cups, 2 saucers, milk jug/creamer and lidded sugar bowl.

The tea pot height is approx 13cm or 5".
The cup height is 6cm or 2.25" and diameter is 6.5cm or 2.5". 
The saucer diameter is 12.5cm or 4.75".
The milk jug height is 8cm or 3".
The sugar bowl height is 11cm or 4.5".

This item is in great condition considering how old and fragile it is with no chips, cracks or crazing. There is some wear to the gilded edges.
